1. Services
Song Audit — A recorded critique of one song, delivered within five business days of receiving your complete materials. Advisory only. It does not include mixing, editing, revisions, or any work performed on your project files.
Live Session — One 60-minute remote coaching session conducted over a third-party platform. You operate your own session and retain sole control of your project files. MTR provides guidance and instruction only and does not access, edit, or take possession of your work.
Co-Production — Hands-on production work. Available only after a discovery call and governed by a separate written agreement executed before work begins. That agreement controls scope, deliverables, credit, publishing splits, master ownership, and payment terms, and supersedes these terms wherever they conflict.
Full Production — Hands-on, end-to-end production available by application. Like Co-Production, it is governed by a separate written agreement executed before work begins, which controls scope, deliverables, credit, publishing splits, master ownership, and payment terms.
2. Refunds
Song Audit. Refundable in full any time before the review is delivered. Once delivered, the service is complete and no refund is available. If you upload nothing within 90 days of purchase, email us and we'll refund you.
Live Session. Refundable in full up to 48 hours before the scheduled start. You may reschedule once at no charge with at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations inside 48 hours, no-shows, and reschedules inside 48 hours are non-refundable, because the time is reserved and can't be resold.
Co-Production and Full Production. Governed by the separate written agreement. Deposits are generally non-refundable once work begins.
Technical failures. If a Live Session can't proceed because of a failure on our end, you'll be offered a reschedule or a full refund, your choice. Client-side connectivity, hardware, or software problems don't qualify — please test your setup in advance.
3. No Guarantee of Results
Services are creative and advisory. Nothing here is a promise of any commercial outcome — no guarantee of streams, placements, label or publisher interest, chart performance, revenue, or that you'll agree with the feedback. You're paying for professional judgment and time, not a result.
4. Your Material and Ownership
You keep all rights in the music you submit. Nothing in a Song Audit or Live Session transfers ownership, creates a co-writing or co-production interest, or entitles MTR to credit, royalties, or publishing in your work.
By submitting material, you confirm you own it or have the rights to submit it, and you grant MTR a limited license to listen to, analyze, and discuss it solely to deliver the service.
MTR may reference the general nature of the engagement in marketing but will not publicly identify you, name your project, or share your audio without your written permission.
5. Confidentiality
Material you submit is kept confidential and won't be shared with third parties except service providers used to deliver the work (file hosting, video conferencing, payment processing). Files are stored on third-party cloud services and are typically deleted 90 days after delivery. Keep your own backups — MTR is not your archive.
6. Scheduling and Delivery
Turnaround times start when complete materials are received, not at purchase. Incomplete or unplayable submissions pause the clock until resolved.
7. Conduct
MTR may decline or terminate an engagement for abusive conduct, material misrepresentation, or requests to work on material you don't have rights to. Unused portions will be refunded in that case.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MTR's total liability for any claim arising from these services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. MTR is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost opportunities, data loss, or damage to project files.
9. Third-Party Platforms
Services rely on third-party tools for payment, scheduling, file transfer, and video conferencing. MTR isn't responsible for their outages, errors, or data practices, which are governed by their own terms.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated. The version in effect on your purchase date governs your purchase.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
